Spikenard (Nardostachys grandiflora) is a flowering plant in the valerianaceae family that grows at elevations between 3000 and 5000 meters in the Himalayan region. The plant stands around a meter tall. It has very strong sedative qualities and works well as a hair loss and color restoration restorative. Spikenard is used to treat acne, hysteria, nervous convulsions, nervous headaches, and epilepsy.
