Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) is a member of the poaceae family (Graminae). Cymbopogon martini is a species of grass in the lemon grass genus that is native to India and Indochina but is widely cultivated for its aromatic oil in many places.
This herbal plant grows to a height of 1 to 3 meters on average. It has a thin stem and a pale green color. It is widely used in rose-scented perfumes and various cosmetic products. It also acts as a mosquito repellent.
