Artemisia (Artemisia Vulgaris L), belongs to the family compositae. The Artemisia plant can reach a maximum height up to 2 meter. Its leaves have a pale green color. Generally, it is found all over Nepal at 300-2500m. Artemisia Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation of leaves, buds and flowering tops of the Artemisia tree.
Its harvesting season is from March to August.
